Pilot Training

All the people responsible for operating the submarine must undergo and complete our training program pilot certificate. The training program consists of both theory and practical demonstrations of handling the submersible safely. After completion of the program we will issue the person with the Pilot Certification.

Owners can undergo also the same training program as crew or it can be arranged for them privately. The training consists typically of one week theory in Finland in our premises and of another week of operational training. The training can be also done on the yacht. The practical training takes place on the satisfactory completion of the theoretical phase. The trainees will practice on three different positions; as pilot and as surface controller. The required practice hours on each position are as mentioned in the program. On the end of the training each trainee has 30 hours as "hands-on" experience on the submarine operation.
